Boiled egg

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan in a single layer.

  2. Add enough water to cover the eggs by at least 2.5 cm .

  3. (Optional) Add a pinch of salt.

  4. Bring water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  5. Once boiling, reduce heat slightly and cook to your liking:

    • Boiled : 5–6 min

    • Calves : 7–9 min

    • Hard : 10–12 min

  6. Immediately remove the eggs and immerse them in a bowl of iced (or cold) water for 5 minutes to stop the cooking.

  7. Peel & enjoy!
