Ingredients:
• 2 onions
• 2 or 3 beets
• Vinegar
• Salt to taste
• 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Preparation: After peeling the beetroot, boil it in lightly salted water. Then dice it. Chop the onion and add it to the beetroot cubes. Add the olive oil and vinegar, then season with salt. You can let this delicious salad sit for an hour before enjoying it.
Regular consumption of beetroot salad improves vision and helps detoxify the liver and colon.
It is important to note, however, that a change in urine or stool color may occur a few hours after eating beets. This is completely normal and does not pose any health risks, as the pigments in beets are absorbed by the intestine and are not broken down.
