How does your sleeping position affect your health?

On your back: comfortable for your spine, yes, but risky if you snore or suffer from sleep apnea. This position can decrease blood oxygen levels and disrupt deep sleep.

Lying face down: This is the position you should avoid. It twists your neck, compresses your internal organs, and makes breathing difficult. A perfect combination for chronic pain and waking up in pain.

On the right side: less catastrophic than in the stomach, but can accentuate the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and overload the liver.
